2005-2010

My interest in Dollz/Preps flared to life roughly in 2005, and made me curious about pixel art in this genre. From 2005 and onward I started making my own pixel art dollz. At first on bases from Pinkland, later on I found a huge online community of other Dollers/artists that were starting to create their own bases and art. In the time period 2005-2010, I also had an extreme interest in making my own websites and writing stories, that resulted in me having tons of websites, all new names and never sticking to one. I used to be known as McFlurry, Mecrysie, Cautiontolove and so many others that I don’t remember well..
2011-2015/2018

In 2010 I joined Deviantart as MsMellaa, like many of my digital friends in the day. I kind of replaced my art-website with DA, as my art had a bigger audience there. I tried to keep up with making pixel art over the years, but I often did not have the time for it anymore because of my studies. Around 2015 I started experimenting with making my own bases and making pixel art without resources or bases from others. It gave me more freedom to work with. This was until 2018 when I stopped pixel art, and just disappeared from DA.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a website, or made any pixel art. I have more free time and wanted to rediscover some of my best days. I started back up and hope to stay for awhile.
until now
I opened social accounts on X(inactive), Instagram((inactive), Bluesky, Tumblr etc. I left deviantArt for a while due to the ongoing AI-debacle, but in 2026 I made the decision to return there.

Unfortunately, due to transferring shortcuts instead of files to my harddrive (thanks honey!), I lost all files from 2005-2010. And even most of them from later years.
